Beijing Culture has released its 2026 semi-annual report. Revenue in the first half came to 97.47 million yuan, down 38.22 percent year on year. Net loss attributable to shareholders was 39.2 million yuan, a sharp narrowing from a loss of 233 million yuan in the same period last year. As a co-producer of the film Welcome to Dragon Restaurant, the company previously posted four consecutive daily limit-up sessions amid the movie's summer release. However, Beijing Culture issued two announcements flagging that its investment stake was relatively low and was not expected to have a material impact on 2026 results. On August 14, Beijing Culture shares closed at 5.92 yuan, down 5.43 percent on the day, ending the four-session winning streak.
