Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF) has announced that its indirect subsidiary, CPF Food and Beverage Company Limited (CPFFB), in which CPF holds a 99.99% stake, will invest in Brew Factory Company Limited (BREW), a producer and distributor of bottled drinking water and mineral water from Surin Province. CPFFB will acquire ordinary shares from existing shareholders, representing 43.60% of BREW's issued and paid-up shares, for 235.3 million baht, and will subscribe to 184,400 newly issued shares for 99.4 million baht, bringing the total investment to 334.7 million baht, equivalent to a 51% stake in BREW. This investment aligns with CPF Group's plan to expand into the drinking water business, which is linked to its core operations and has growth potential.
