GMM MUSIC reported first-half 2569 results with total revenue of 2,161.2 million baht, growing 12.2%, and net profit of 280.7 million baht, up 29.2%. Its net profit margin rose from 11.3% to 13.0%. Chief Executive Officer Phawit Chitrakorn said all four core businesses grew strongly. The artist management business posted a record-high revenue of 730.8 million baht, up 17.9%. The digital music business recorded total revenue of 533.3 million baht, up 15.2%. The copyright management business had total revenue of 156.1 million baht, up 12.3%. The showbiz business, operated by GMM SHOW, generated revenue of 496.3 million baht, up 8%, on 272,462 attendees in the first half. The company is confident the second half will continue to grow and is pressing ahead with its corporate Re-engineering project under a five-year plan to build strength and remain a revenue pillar for GMM GRAMMY.
