In fiscal year 2026, from October 2025 to September 2026, court orders were issued to block a total of 835,207 URLs linked to online gambling, comprising 749,546 items from proactive measures by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society and 85,661 items from the Royal Thai Police. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society has coordinated with various digital platforms to block an additional 109,868 items. In total, 945,075 URLs related to online gambling have been blocked. Ploythalee Laksameesangchan, deputy spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, said the measure uses data from the Royal Thai Police together with AI technology to inspect and search for gambling websites, while also opening a channel for the public to report tips. The Royal Thai Police's Online Anti-Fraud Center reported that in the week of September 27 to October 3, 2026, 5,279 cases were reported through Thaipoliceonline, with damages worth 252 million baht, a decrease of 95 cases and more than 1 million baht in damages compared with the period of September 20 to 26, 2026.
