KGI Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or KGI, has joined with the Faculty of Science and Technology at Thammasat University to launch the KGI Algo Trading Bootcamp & Competition 2026, now in its third consecutive year, aimed at developing students' algorithmic trading skills by combining capital market knowledge, data analysis, and programming. The program gives students the chance to compete in building trading instructions and developing securities trading strategies for a total of 150,000 baht in scholarships. The launch event was held recently at Room S-106, Lecture Building 5, Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus, with Nantarat Surakkhaka, Deputy Managing Director of the Office of the Executive Committee Support at KGI, along with Associate Professor Dr. Supet Jirakajohnkool, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and Associate Professor Dr. Wuttiphol Sinthunavarat, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, officially opening the event.
