The company stated that the gross margin of its main gold and jewelry business improved year-on-year and profit scale grew year-on-year, but the photovoltaic cell business continued to incur losses due to industry supply-demand mismatch and price wars. The company has implemented a phased production halt for this business to reduce expenses, and the loss from the photovoltaic cell segment has narrowed compared with the same period last year.
