NW Natural has been selected as the sole winner of the 2026 National Energy and Utility Affordability Coalition Corporate Excellence Award, recognizing its support of Oregon low-income energy efficiency programs. The award was presented on May 19 during the NEUAC annual conference in Seattle, honoring the company's innovative practices, community partnerships, and depth of programming for economically challenged customers. Central to the recognition is the Oregon Low-Income Energy Efficiency program, a no-cost, whole-home retrofit initiative funded through a public purpose charge on customer bills that has served 2,500 households over more than 20 years. NW Natural's community partnership model, working with the Oregon Energy Fund and Habitat for Humanity, has completed energy retrofits at two Habitat communities in Portland and Hillsboro.
