Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul presided over the opening of the Thailand–China Cooperation Expo 2026, stating that the event takes place at a pivotal moment in Thai–Chinese relations, following the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties last year and marking the beginning of the next fifty years of strategic cooperation. Highlights of the expo include displays of humanoid robots, logistics robots, and AI-powered intelligent dog robots from three leading Chinese tech companies: UBTECH, AGIBOT, and DOBOT, along with a Humanoid Show, a parade, and a running competition. In addition, over 270 Thai and Chinese companies are participating, showcasing products across more than 670 booths. A Consultation Zone, a one-stop investment advisory center, is being launched for the first time, with over nine government agencies providing advice. There is also a Job Fair offering over 3,000 positions, and an Education Fair granting more than 2,000 scholarships from over 20 top Chinese universities. The expo runs from July 22 to 25, 2026, at the Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani.
