TrueVisions NOW Partners with Viu to Bring Six Thai Series to Three ASEAN Countries

TrueVisions NOW has joined hands with Viu to launch the TrueVisions NOW Branded Zone, piloting six original Thai series out of a total of 24 to viewers in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, with viewing starting on 20 August 2026. The first batch of series includes Ban Tuayang, Mahesi Noi, Thueng Khun Phraya… Chak Sami Thi Rak, Sai Lap Rot Hae, Mui Fei, and Rak. Mr. Ong-art Praphakamon, Head of TrueVisions and Media at True Corporation, said that premium VOD in the five main ASEAN markets in 2025 grew 19% to more than 61 million accounts, and fourth-quarter viewing reached as high as 4.2 billion hours. Janice Lee, CEO of Viu and Managing Director of PCCW Media Group, sees Thai series as having potential in creativity and production quality, and is ready to expand Thai content to other markets in the future.
