Credo's Retimer Business Hits Record Revenue as Blue Heron Ramps
Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd. reported record revenue in its retimer business, led by its Screaming Eagle retimer at 100G per lane, with the Blue Heron retimer beginning to contribute at 200G per lane. The company's fiscal first-quarter revenue reached $479 million, up 114.7% year over year, and management guided for second-quarter revenue of $525-$535 million. Credo introduced Blue Heron, a 224G multiprotocol AI scale-up retimer supporting UALink, ESUN and Ethernet, in January 2026, and its Toucan Gen6x16 PCIe retimer achieved PCI-SIG 6.x compliance at 64 GT/s and joined the PCI-SIG Integrators List in August. Competitors are moving as well: Astera Labs expanded its Taurus portfolio in July with the industry's first OCP-standard footprint-compatible 3.2T Smart Retimers and Smart Redrivers, and management expects the new offerings to double the Taurus market opportunity to more than $4 billion by 2030. Broadcom now expects fiscal 2026 AI revenue of $58 billion, up 186% from fiscal 2025. Credo shares have surged 31% in the past month, and the company carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
