Latham Posts 14.4% Q2 Revenue Growth, Leads Leisure Products Group
Latham reported second-quarter revenues of $197.5 million, up 14.4% year on year and 4.8% above analysts' expectations, as the 12 consumer discretionary leisure products stocks tracked posted a group-wide revenue beat of 9.1% and next-quarter revenue guidance 14.4% above consensus. Latham's in-ground pool sales rose 22.5%, or 13.6% organically, led by fiberglass pools, which are on track to account for approximately 80% of full-year in-ground pool sales in 2026, while cover sales rose 10% on autocover growth. President and CEO Sean Gadd credited execution of strategic priorities and said the results support expectations of continued share gains. Latham delivered the highest full-year guidance raise in the group, and its stock is up 12.2% since reporting, trading at $6.40. Among peers, Smith & Wesson reported revenues of $112.6 million, up 32.3% and 14.1% above expectations, with its stock up 19.6% at $14.67, while Brunswick posted the weakest guidance update of the group on revenues of $1.56 billion, up 7.7%, and its stock is down 19.4% at $64.86.
