Anaconda announced an expansion of its collaboration with Intel to make Intel-optimized software easier for developers to access, install and keep current through the conda ecosystem. The two companies are marking a milestone of more than 500 million downloads of Intel-optimized AI, ML and Python packages. The expanded collaboration is aimed at supporting AI builders as development moves from local devices built and shipped through Intel OEMs into the data center and cloud. Seth Clark, VP Product for AI at Anaconda, said the milestone reflects the trust developers place in the companies' long-standing work to unlock Intel hardware for open source AI, ML and Python applications. Anaconda said additional details regarding the collaboration will follow.
