Asia Plus Securities stated that August 2026 sales at DELTA Taiwan, the parent company of DELTA, came in at 64 billion Taiwan dollars, down 4% month-on-month but still up 35% year-on-year, and above the 2Q26 average of 61 billion Taiwan dollars. As a result, combined sales for the first two months of the third quarter, July 2026 through August 2026, reached 130 billion Taiwan dollars, or 41% growth year-on-year. Although parent company sales declined, DELTA's own sales in the same period do not necessarily have to fall in tandem, because parent company sales reflect the entire group including subsidiaries worldwide, which have different timing for production, product delivery, and revenue recognition. However, DELTA Thailand's sales tend to move in the same direction as the parent company, with a correlation of roughly 96%. The research team therefore expects DELTA's July 2026 to August 2026 sales to still grow better than in 2Q26, just like the parent company. In addition, the raw material shortage problems that arose in 2Q26 began to ease from July 2026. Overall, the research team views that DELTA's 3Q26 sales will grow both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year, while margins should improve quarter-on-quarter and royalty payments as a share of sales will decline quarter-on-quarter, as products manufactured under DELTA's own technology are expected to account for a higher proportion in the second half of 2026, pushing 3Q26 profit to its highest point of the year. The research team also estimates normal profit for 2026 to 2027 at 35 to 49 billion baht, or average annual growth of 42%, and maintains its Buy recommendation, believing profit has already passed its low point for the year in 2Q26 and that second-half 2026 profit will be better than the first half. It sets a target price of 342.00 baht.

Wolfspeed Shares Jump 25% on $1.5B Department of War Loan Commitment
Wolfspeed shares catapulted more than 25% in early post-market trading on Wednesday after the company received a $1.5B, 30-year conditional loan commitment from the U.S. Department of War. The long-term financing is intended to support domestic development and production of silicon carbide materials and wide bandgap power devices, with an additional focus on U.S. national security applications. Wolfspeed plans to use the funds to upgrade its gallium nitride epitaxy capabilities for next-generation communications infrastructure and electronic warfare systems, and to develop radiation-hardening capabilities for its current SiC and future GaN products, drawing on its manufacturing facilities in North Carolina, New York and Arkansas. Under the loan terms, Wolfspeed would be required to issue to the DoW VWAP-based warrants to purchase, in the aggregate, up to 7.5% of Wolfspeed's fully diluted equity, with the warrants issuable in proportion as and when financing tranches are funded. CEO Robert Feurle said the scale and 30-year tenor of the conditional commitment reflects the long-term importance of the technology and manufacturing capabilities Wolfspeed has built in the United States.

Morgan Stanley Upgrades BorgWarner to Overweight, Lifts Target to $95
Morgan Stanley upgraded BorgWarner to Overweight from Equal-weight, sending shares up 4.4% in premarket trading to $62.92. Analyst Andrew Percoco and his team said a long tail of ICE and hybrid demand supports the core auto outlook, while onsite power and storage add a higher-growth, higher-margin earnings opportunity. The firm raised its price target on BorgWarner to $95 using a sum-of-the-parts approach: $50 per share for the Core Auto business, based on a 5.5x EV/EBITDA multiple applied to a $2.20bn 2027 EBITDA estimate, and $45 per share for Distributed Power, based on a 12.5x EV/EBITDA multiple applied to a $1.2bn 2030 power EBITDA estimate discounted back to present value. Percoco wrote that the turbine generator offers the clearest near-term path to commercializing earnings beyond the auto cycle, ranking second just behind Bloom Energy's Solid Oxide Fuel Cell, while BorgWarner's microgrid inverter and ESS product provide a more modest additional avenue of growth. BorgWarner is expected to update its 2 GW manufacturing capacity target with its fourth-quarter earnings report.
Dechang Shares H1 Revenue Up 11.7% to 2.31 Billion Yuan, Net Profit Down 69.67%
Dechang Shares disclosed at its 2026 semi-annual results briefing that first-half operating revenue reached 2.31 billion yuan, up 11.7% year on year, while net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 33.5884 million yuan, down 69.67% year on year. Revenue in both of the company's main business segments maintained growth, with auto parts revenue at 337 million yuan, up 19.93% year on year, and home appliance revenue at 1.973 billion yuan, up 13.20% year on year. The sharp decline in net profit was mainly affected by exchange rate fluctuations, with an exchange loss of 56.5935 million yuan in the reporting period, compared with an exchange gain of 9.2783 million yuan in the same period last year, while a year-on-year decline in the main business gross margin also squeezed profit margins. The company said its automotive motor business added five new designated projects during the period, with a full life-cycle value exceeding 800 million yuan. Domestic steer-by-wire motors have entered mass production, motors supporting overseas autonomous driving projects have been delivered, and multiple new intelligent chassis products are under development. Some models of robot dexterous hand joint motors have completed verification, preliminary finalization, and achieved small-batch delivery. The private placement registration approval has been obtained for nearly a year, and the company said the project has already been started with self-owned funds and will be advanced at an appropriate time within the validity period of the approval.
