Delta Air Lines will launch new nonstop service between Salt Lake City and Flagstaff beginning June 7, 2027. The twice-daily, year-round route will provide a gateway to Flagstaff, Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and is aimed at leisure travelers seeking outdoor experiences. The new connection further strengthens Salt Lake City's position as an important hub in Delta's western network, alongside recently announced services to Santa Rosa and Monterey. The service will be operated with the CRJ-550's premium regional configuration. Delta's shares have gained 46.7% over the past year compared with the Transportation - Airline industry's 5.7% growth, and the stock currently carries a Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell).
