As for the 30 bilateral meetings with economic leaders and representatives of international financial institutions, the aim is to strengthen ties, exchange policies for coping with crises, open channels for cooperation, and build on opportunities in investment and economic development. The Thai government sees hosting this event as a chance to use its international financial, fiscal, and economic networks to connect Thailand to the global economy and deliver long-term benefits for the Thai economy.
