GSB launches and opens registration for the QR Maha Heng x Nok Krasip loan, expanding its lending to merchants and small entrepreneurs.
Government Savings Bank is opening registration for the "GSB QR Maha Heng x Nok Krasip" loan on the first day, 24 September, via the bank's website at www.gsb.or.th through 31 October 2026. The maximum loan amount is 50,000 baht per borrower, or no more than 1.5 times average monthly sales over at least the past 3 months. The interest rate is fixed at 0.75% per month, equivalent to an effective annual rate of 16.20%, and no collateral is required. Mr. Songpol Cheewapanyaroj, Director of Government Savings Bank, disclosed that this loan is part of the AI Nok Krasip loan project launched earlier by the Ministry of Finance, which uses actual sales data from trading as alternative data in credit consideration. It targets merchants and small entrepreneurs using the Thung Ngern application under the Thai Chuay Thai Plus project. For shops with actual sales and payment receipts of at least 10,000 baht per month for no less than 3 consecutive months, the AI Nok Krasip trading summary from the Thung Ngern app will be used in consideration together with the bank's criteria. This is a short-term revolving credit line, which can be drawn according to the approved limit, and once repaid, the credit line becomes available again without having to submit a new loan application. Those with a good repayment history of at least 6 months have a chance of having their credit limit expanded and may receive a reduction in interest rate according to the bank's criteria. The bank will begin considering loans from 1 October 2026 onward.
