Grab Holdings LtdExpansion of Quick Cash loan service to upcountry areas and higher loan limits indicates growing demand for Grab's financial services.

Grab has announced the expansion of its Quick Cash loan service to upcountry areas in the third quarter of 2026, increasing the maximum loan amount to 30,000 baht and extending the maximum repayment period to 9 months. The service, which has been available in Bangkok and its vicinity for four months, has received a positive response. Mr. Phuruchart Ongsri, Assistant Managing Director of Financial Services at Grab Thailand, stated that the service targets individuals seeking capital for their livelihoods. It was piloted in April with a maximum loan of 20,000 baht and a maximum repayment period of 6 months. Key features include easy application, no paperwork, fast approval, and a fully app-based process. The expansion will cover major cities such as Chonburi, Khon Kaen, and Chiang Mai. User data shows that over 60% of borrowers are working-age individuals aged 30-45, and more than 80% choose not to borrow the full amount, borrowing on average only 70% of the offered limit. Nearly 70% opt for repayment periods of 5-6 months, reflecting that users consider their repayment capacity.
