JetBlue Airways announced new daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport in Barranquilla, Colombia. Barranquilla becomes the latest addition to JetBlue's Colombian network after Medellín and Cartagena, with service to Cali set to launch later this month, bringing the airline's Colombian network to four destinations in total. The route will be flown with Airbus A320 aircraft featuring the Main experience, including free high-speed Fly-Fi, seatback entertainment with live TV at every seat and complimentary snacks and drinks. One-way fares from Fort Lauderdale to Barranquilla start at $134 in Main and $234 in EvenMore, available on JetBlue.com. Daniel Shurz, senior vice president, revenue, network and enterprise planning, said the new service builds on JetBlue's long history of serving Colombia and strengthens Fort Lauderdale as a connecting gateway across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.
