Wuhan Keqian Biology Co LtdObtained two new veterinary drug registration certificates for vaccines, expanding product portfolio.

KQ Bio-Tech announced that on July 30, 2026, it received two new veterinary drug registration certificates issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. One is a combined inactivated vaccine against porcine epidemic diarrhea and porcine rotavirus disease (G9 type), using strains HB17 and JS01, for preventing diarrhea in pigs caused by PEDV and PoRV G9 infection. The immunity period is three months, addressing the current situation where co-infection of PEDV and PoRV is common in clinical settings and G9 type has become the dominant circulating strain. The other is a quadrivalent inactivated vaccine against Newcastle disease, avian influenza (H9 subtype), infectious bursal disease, and fowl adenovirus disease (group I, serotype 4), using strains La Sota, HB01, rVP2, and rFiber2, for preventing four avian diseases. This targets the prevalence of very virulent strains of infectious bursal disease and the endemic circulation of fowl adenovirus. Both products are classified as Class III new veterinary drugs with a three-year monitoring period.
