Summary · why it matters

MarketAxess Holdings Inc. is expanding the reach of its fixed income data and analytics through a new integration with Arcesium that brings its CP+ and TraX datasets into Arcesium's Aquata and Opterra platforms. The integration combines CP+, MarketAxess' AI-powered algorithmic pricing engine for global credit and rates markets, with TraX, which provides daily trade volumes and transaction data for more than 42,000 fixed income instruments, allowing hedge funds, institutional asset managers and capital markets firms to access pricing, liquidity and transaction data within their existing workflows. The agreement builds on an existing relationship under which Arcesium has integrated MarketAxess' Repo Match service into its Opterra platform since June 2024, enabling automated matching of repo trades against counterparty confirmations. Repo Match connects 127 buy-side and sell-side firms and handles more than $700 billion in average daily matched volume. MarketAxess said the expanded relationship could strengthen its data and analytics business by placing its proprietary market intelligence deeper within institutional investment workflows and create additional opportunities to monetize pricing and transaction information across a broader client base. In the year-to-date period, MarketAxess shares have fallen 9.3% against the industry's growth of 0.9%.
