Guang'an Aizhong announced that its controlling subsidiary Mianyang Aizhong Power Generation received a notice from the Pingwu County Development and Reform Bureau, requiring its Youfanggou (Si'er Level 3) Hydropower Station to fully complete cleanup and exit by the end of December 2026. The company has set up a special task force to negotiate with the government for reasonable compensation.

Guang'an Aizhong issued two announcements on the evening of July 31, disclosing that its deducted net profit for the first half of 2026 fell 41.7 percent year-on-year, while also planning to invest 30 million yuan in an industrial fund with a total size of 501 million yuan. The earnings flash report showed that the company achieved operating revenue of 1.442 billion yuan in the first half, up 0.2 percent year-on-year, with net profit attributable to shareholders of 81.1353 million yuan, up 4.43 percent, but deducted net profit was only 36.5941 million yuan, a sharp decline year-on-year. The company explained that time-of-use electricity pricing policies led to reduced electricity sales revenue, and adjustments in the gas procurement source structure pushed up procurement costs. On the same day, Guang'an Aizhong announced that as a limited partner, it would contribute 30 million yuan of its own funds, together with Nanjing Jiangbei Yihua Private Equity Fund Management Company and others, to establish the Guang'an Chuanghua Energy and Chemical Industry Investment Guidance Fund. The fund has a total size of 501 million yuan, with Guang'an Aizhong contributing 5.99 percent, a duration of 10 years, and will mainly invest in energy and chemical projects in areas such as high-end manufacturing. The company stated that this move helps strengthen resource support and broaden investment channels, but also cautioned that the fund has not yet completed industrial and commercial registration and filing, and there are risks such as long investment cycles and returns falling short of expectations.
