International Research Corporation Public Company Limited, or IRCP, informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand that the South Bangkok Civil Court issued a first-instance judgment on 5 October 2026 ordering the company to pay 2.09 million baht plus interest at 5% per year from 1 July 2022 until payment is completed, and to bear the plaintiff's court fees, with lawyer's fees set at 30,000 baht, while other requests were dismissed. In this case, Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited was the plaintiff that filed suit against IRCP as the contractor under an agreement to develop systems and services for the Smart University project, or the Dome Application system, with the South Bangkok Civil Court, alleging breach of contract and seeking damages and penalties totaling 31.55 million baht plus interest, equivalent to 7.42% of the company's shareholders' equity. The company stated that the amount the court ordered it to pay was significantly lower than the amount originally claimed by the plaintiff, and that relative to the company's shareholders' equity it is no longer considered material to its financial position. It also confirmed that the judgment does not affect its normal operations, liquidity, or financial position. However, after receiving the full judgment, the company's management, legal department, and legal advisors will jointly review the details and reasoning in the judgment to determine the next legal steps, including considering whether to exercise the right to appeal within the period prescribed by law.
