Apple Inc.Apple's new foldable iPhone Duo is called revolutionary and could generate sales beyond the usual replacement cycle, adding a new product to its lineup.
Jim Cramer said Apple's new foldable iPhone Duo is revolutionary and that he intends to buy it as a second phone alongside the iPhone 18 he already purchased. In the latest episode of MadMoney, the CNBC host argued the Duo could generate sales beyond Apple's usual replacement cycle, since customers might add the foldable rather than simply trade in an existing handset. Apple unveiled its iPhone 18 Pro lineup and its first foldable iPhone on September 9; the Pro models reached stores on September 18, while Duo availability follows on October 23 at a price tag of $2,000. Apple shares have already gained around 23.6% this year through September 18, and the stock trades at 38.06 times forward non-GAAP earnings, almost 67% above the sector median and 29% above its five-year average, while consensus EPS growth slows from 18.37% in fiscal 2026 to 8.58% in fiscal 2027. Cramer also singled out Okta after speaking with CEO Todd McKinnon, saying identity verification for autonomous AI agents could open a new security opportunity, and pointed to Okta's upcoming Wednesday analyst meeting as a chance to hear more.
