The share sale came after the Thai Airways board resolved to immediately suspend Chai from his position as CEO on 2 October 2026, amid a confidence crisis stemming from flooding in Bangkok and an ongoing investigation. THAI shares closed at 5.65 baht, up 0.10 baht, or 1.80%, with trading value of 123.86 million baht.
